As time goes on, the term organic is being tossed around as the answer to verifying what is pure and natural. Unfortunately, such is not always the case. Anyone can, and does, say their product is organic whether it is or not. Just because one or two organic ingredients are used in a product that contains a total of six or more non organic ingredients does NOT qualify it as a certified organic product. We have even seen companies use one organic ingredient and then add a series of synthetic (and toxic) chemicals to the product and claim that it is organic...it's NOT!
To be truly certified organic, it is not just the ingredients that are in the product, but also how the product is handled during production, what is used to clean the facility and equipment, and a myriad of other requirements that insure your product never encounters or contains any synthetic chemicals.
We meet all the requirements of being certified organic and are in the process of obtaining the USDA seal. It is a long and expensive process, but well worth the time and effort to assure each and every one of you that when our products touch your skin, you are getting the best of what nature has to offer!
